What Does each Coding Block Do/Mean?Updated a year ago
The Sphero Edu JavaScript wiki is a comprehensive guide for the core programming functionality available in the Sphero Edu canvas. You can access the JavaScript Wiki here.
If you use Sphero Edu in a school, you may need to take additional steps to ensure that users can access the JavaScript Wiki.
- If you block network traffic, you may need to unblock the JavaScript Wiki by whitelisting this URL: https://sites.google.com/sphero.com/sphero-edu-javascript-wiki
- In some cases, students may not be able to access the JavaScript Wiki due to the following error:
"We are sorry, but you do not have access to this service. Please contact your Organization Administrator for access."- This error is related to Google account permissions. If your students are signed into a Chromebook, Android device, or a Chrome browser with managed Google accounts, then Google Admin settings may be blocking their access to Google Sites. The Sphero Edu JavaScript Wiki is built with Google Sites, and as a result, access to the site will depend on allowed user permissions. If this is the case, you can follow the steps below to enable access to Google Sites:
- As a Google Workspace Administrator, go to Google Admin > Apps > Google Workspace > Sites
- From the Sites page, you can adjust the various settings to allow your students access to Google Sites for the chosen organizational units.
