Sharing With the Sphero Edu Native App
Download a Program File (.lab File) to Send Directly
In the 7.0.0 releases of Sphero Edu, users can directly download .lab files of their programs and store them on their device. They can then share that .lab file as desired (for example, email, external hard drive, cloud storage app, messenger apps, or AirDrop). You can download programs from two locations:
Program Overview:
Programming Canvas:
If you receive a .lab file, you can open it in Sphero Edu through the "create program" UI:
Via a Lesson
If you are a teacher and are using lessons with your students, you can attach a starter program to a Lesson. You can then have your class access it using Lesson Codes or assign the lesson via the class management tools accessible on the Sphero Central platform.
In-app Sharing
Many of the app clients have a share button on the program overview screen, which allows you to email, message, or AirDrop a program.

Class Code Classes
If you use class codes with your class, you can directly share programs to students through the class code management tools and they can optionally share programs with you as well.
NOTE: Sharing via the "Programs" page shown above is a different operation than sharing via the share sheet after clicking on the program square/thumbnail first as seen below
Sharing With the Sphero Edu Web App
If you or your students use the Sphero Edu Web App on your computer, then you can directly download your programs from your browser and share as needed.
You can download your programs two ways. If you click on the "more" (three dots) icon for a specific program, you will have a menu with the option to download that specific program:
If you wish to download multiple programs, you can do so by selecting "Edit" in the top right:
Select your desired programs and choose to "Download":
NOTE:
If you download multiple programs, they will be zipped into a single archive. You can unzip to access all the individual files.
Once you have downloaded your programs, you can share these .lab files and other users can open with the "Open From Device" button on the "Programs" tab:
